The GT-SAT GT-S3dCSS24 is a professional, programmable Unicable II/dCSS LNB combining modern single-cable distribution with three independent outputs for conventional satellite receivers.

The LNB provides one SCR/dCSS output with 24 user bands. This output can supply up to 24 compatible tuners through a single coaxial cable. The signal can be distributed to several rooms or receivers using suitable Unicable-compatible splitters.

In addition to the Unicable output, it has three independent Legacy outputs for conventional satellite receivers or televisions that do not support Unicable. The complete system can therefore supply up to 24 Unicable tuners and three traditional receivers simultaneously.

The GT-S3dCSS24 supports EN50494, EN50607 and dHello, making it suitable for both existing and modern satellite installations. It supports HDTV, DVB-S2 and 4K/UHD and can be programmed using the separately available GT-SAT GT-DC2 dController.

🔧 Connection and Operation

The F-connector marked SCR is used for the Unicable/dCSS system. It can be connected directly to a compatible receiver or divided using Unicable-compatible splitters to supply multiple tuners.

Every tuner connected to the SCR output must be configured with its own user band and corresponding frequency. Two tuners in the same cable system must not use the same user band simultaneously.

The three connectors marked Legacy operate as independent Universal LNB outputs. Each Legacy output can supply one conventional satellite receiver or tuner using traditional 13/18V and 0/22 kHz control.

A receiver containing several tuners may use several user bands. Capacity should therefore be calculated by the number of tuners, not only the number of physical receiver boxes.
