The Inverto Twin Monoblock LNB 6° is designed for simultaneous reception from two compatible satellite positions separated by approximately 6°. The most common combination is Hotbird 13°E and Astra 19.2°E, providing access to a broad selection of European satellite channels using one dish.
The product combines two feedhorns, two Universal LNB sections and an integrated DiSEqC 1.0 switch in one unit. The receiver automatically changes between the orbital positions without requiring a separate external DiSEqC switch.
Its two independent outputs can supply up to two single-tuner receivers or one Twin Tuner receiver. Each tuner can independently select its satellite position, polarisation and frequency band.
The model is optimised for digital satellite television, DVB-S2 and HDTV. A typical noise figure of 0.2 dB, high frequency stability and good cross-polarisation isolation provide reliable performance in European satellite installations.

🎯 Ideal For
Hotbird 13°E and Astra 19.2°E
Reception from two compatible satellites spaced approximately 6° apart
Two separate satellite receivers
One Twin Tuner receiver
PVR and recording receivers
Televisions with integrated satellite tuners
Digital satellite television and HDTV
Offset dishes measuring approximately 75–85 cm
Installations where an external DiSEqC switch should be avoided
🛰️ Satellite Positions and DiSEqC Configuration
The standard configuration for Hotbird and Astra is:
| DiSEqC position | Satellite | Orbital position |
|---|
| Sat A / Port A | Hotbird | 13°E |
| Sat B / Port B | Astra 1 | 19.2°E |
Sat A is the product’s default position. The receiver must be configured with the correct DiSEqC port for each satellite.
The product may be used with other compatible satellite pairs separated by approximately 6°, although reception depends on dish design, satellite footprints and geographical location.
🔧 Connection and Operation
Install the LNB on a compatible offset dish and connect a separate coaxial cable from each output in use to the corresponding tuner.
Recommended receiver settings:
LNB type: Universal
Low-band LO: 9750 MHz
High-band LO: 10600 MHz
Satellite switching: DiSEqC 1.0
DiSEqC A: Hotbird 13°E
DiSEqC B: Astra 19.2°E
Low band: 0 kHz
High band: 22 kHz
Vertical polarisation: normally 13V
Horizontal polarisation: normally 18V
A Twin Tuner receiver normally requires two separate cables from the LNB to watch one channel while independently recording another.
Accurate dish alignment and adjustment of the LNB angle are important for achieving a good signal from both satellites.
📡 Capacity
| Installation | Capacity |
|---|
| Single-tuner receivers | Up to 2 receivers |
| Twin Tuner receiver | 1 receiver |
| Satellite positions | 2 |
| Independent outputs | 2 |
Capacity should be calculated by the number of tuners. Each tuner requires its own LNB output and coaxial cable for fully independent operation.
