GT-SAT GT-S2dCSS24 Unicable II LNB – 24 User Bands and 2 Legacy Outputs | 4K/UHD

The GT-SAT GT-S2dCSS24 is a professional, programmable Unicable II/dCSS LNB combining a powerful SCR output with two independent Legacy outputs.

The SCR/dCSS output can supply up to 24 compatible tuners through a single coaxial cable. The signal can be distributed to several receivers or rooms using Unicable-compatible splitters, making the LNB ideal where many tuners must be connected but only limited coaxial cabling is available.

The two independent Legacy outputs can simultaneously supply conventional satellite receivers or televisions without Unicable support. The LNB can therefore serve up to 24 Unicable tuners and two traditional receivers, providing a total capacity of up to 26 tuners or receivers.

The GT-S2dCSS24 supports EN50494, EN50494+, EN50607 and dHello. The first eight user bands are available to standard EN50494 receivers. Equipment specifically supporting EN50494+ can use up to 16 user bands. Access to all 24 user bands normally requires EN50607 or dHello support.

The LNB supports HDTV, DVB-S2 and 4K/UHD and can be programmed using the separately available GT-SAT GT-DC2 dController.

🔧 Connection and Operation

The output marked SCR is used for the Unicable/dCSS system. It can be connected directly to a compatible receiver or divided using Unicable-compatible splitters.

Every tuner in the Unicable system must be assigned its own user band and corresponding frequency. Two tuners on the same cable system must not use the same user band simultaneously.

The two outputs marked Legacy operate as independent Universal LNB outputs. Each Legacy output can supply one conventional satellite receiver or tuner using traditional 13/18V and 0/22 kHz control.

A multi-tuner receiver may require several user bands. Capacity should therefore be calculated by the number of tuners, not only the number of receiver boxes.
