Spaun SAR 411 FI 4-Way DiSEqC Switch – 4 Inputs to 1 Receiver

The Spaun SAR 411 FI is a professional 4-way satellite antenna relay featuring four inputs and one output to the satellite receiver. It selects between up to four separate SAT IF signals through one coaxial cable.

The switch can be used directly with four LNBs or as an Uncommitted switch in a larger DiSEqC installation. Combining the SAR 411 FI with conventional Committed switches makes it possible to build a system supporting up to 16 LNBs.

More advanced cascading can extend the system further. The connected receiver must support the appropriate DiSEqC commands, normally DiSEqC 1.1 or 2.1, to control an Uncommitted switch.

The Spaun SAR 411 FI is particularly suitable for Dreambox and other Linux or Enigma2 receivers featuring advanced DiSEqC configuration.

🔧 Connection and Operation

For direct operation, connect up to four LNBs or SAT IF feeds to the LNB 1–4 inputs. Connect the output marked Receiver to the satellite receiver or television’s satellite input.

When the unit is used as a standalone 4/1 switch, select each input through the receiver’s DiSEqC settings.

When used as an Uncommitted switch, four conventional 4/1 Committed switches can be connected to the SAR 411 FI. This arrangement can provide access to up to 16 LNBs:

• The Committed switches select one of four LNBs.

• The SAR 411 FI selects which of the four Committed switches is used.

• The receiver must be configured with the correct Committed and Uncommitted commands.

On Dreambox and other Enigma2 receivers, this is normally configured through the advanced tuner settings.
