The Toroidal T85 is an efficient multi-focus satellite dish capable of receiving signals from up to five satellite positions with a single antenna. It is an excellent choice for combining satellites such as Thor, Astra 4.8° East, Hot Bird, Astra 19.2° East and Astra 28.2° East without installing several separate dishes.
Its toroidal construction creates several usable focal points along the LNB rail. Each satellite position therefore benefits from a more suitable reception point than on a conventional offset dish, where signal levels from side-mounted LNBs often decrease as their distance from the centre increases.
The antenna provides a wide multi-feed range of ±24°, or 48° in total, offering considerable flexibility when selecting orbital positions. Antenna gain is up to 38.7 dB at 12.5 GHz in the central position, while the compact main reflector measures approximately 71 × 91 cm.
The Toroidal T85 is available in three configurations: dish only, package with four LNBs and a switch, or package with five LNBs and a switch. This makes it easy to select a system suited to the required number of satellites.

🔀 Automatic Satellite Switching
When several LNBs are installed, they are connected to a compatible DiSEqC switch. The satellite receiver then sends control commands to the switch and automatically selects the correct LNB when the user changes channel or satellite.
The receiver must support the appropriate DiSEqC protocol and be configured with the correct port for each satellite position.

🔧 Installation
Install the antenna on a stable mast measuring 42–60 mm in diameter. The mast and fixings must be correctly dimensioned for the antenna’s weight and wind load.
After setting the basic azimuth, elevation and rotation, position each LNB on the rail and adjust it individually for its satellite. Because several focal points must be balanced, installation requires greater precision than a conventional single-satellite dish.
For best results, alignment with a professional satellite meter is recommended. Confirm signal strength and quality from every satellite before fully tightening all mounts.
