The Toroidal T55 is a compact dual-reflector, multi-focus satellite antenna designed to receive several orbital positions with a single dish. It is an excellent solution for receiving satellites such as Thor, Astra 4.8° East, Hotbird and Astra 19.2° East without installing several separate antennas.
Its toroidal design combines a main reflector with a secondary reflector to create multiple effective focal points along the LNB rail. Each LNB can therefore be aligned with a separate orbital position, providing more consistent reception across a wider arc than a conventional dish with standard offset multifeed reception.
The T55 can accommodate between one and eight LNBs, depending on the LNB design, spacing between orbital positions and number of installed holders. Five LNB holders are supplied with the dish. Four satellites are a common configuration, while reception from five or more positions depends on the installation location, satellite footprints and selected equipment.
Its compact dimensions make the antenna easier to install discreetly on a wall or mast. The reflectors are manufactured from galvanised steel with a durable anthracite polyester coating.
✅ Product Benefits

- Toroidal dual-reflector, multi-focus design
- Suitable for Thor, Astra 4.8°E, Hotbird and Astra 19.2°E
- Adjustable LNB rail for flexible positioning
- Supports 1–8 LNB positions depending on configuration
- Five LNB holders included
- Recommended orbital spacing of approximately 4.5°
- Approximately 40° usable satellite arc
- More compact and discreet than several separate dishes
- Adjustable azimuth, elevation and antenna rotation
- Wall bracket included
- Galvanised steel with polyester-coated finish
- Available as dish only or packages with LNBs and a switch
🛰️ Example Satellite Combinations
Depending on the installation location, satellite footprint and unobstructed line of sight, the T55 may be used with positions such as:
- Thor 0.8° West
- Astra 4.8° East, formerly known as Sirius
- Hotbird 13° East
- Astra 19.2° East
- Astra 23.5° East
- Other Ku-band satellites within the antenna’s adjustment range
The suitability of a particular satellite combination must be assessed for the installation location. Dish size, satellite footprints and spacing between orbital positions all affect reception.
🎯 Ideal For
- Homes requiring channels from several satellites
- International and multilingual television services
- Installations where several separate dishes are undesirable
- Astra, Hotbird, Thor and Astra 4.8°E reception
- Wall or mast installation
- Fixed systems using a DiSEqC switch
- Systems that may be expanded with additional orbital positions
🔧 Installation and Alignment
Install the antenna on the supplied wall bracket or a suitable, rigid mast. The mounting system permits adjustment of azimuth, elevation and rotation around the antenna’s longitudinal axis.
Begin by aligning the antenna with a central orbital position. Install the remaining LNBs along the rail and fine-tune each one individually for maximum signal quality. The polarisation angle, or skew, of each LNB must also be adjusted.
A DiSEqC switch is normally used when several satellites are connected to one receiver. Configure the receiver with the correct DiSEqC port for each satellite.
Accurate alignment with a suitable satellite meter is recommended. Small adjustments can produce a significant improvement, particularly at the outer orbital positions.

⚠️ Important Information
- Reception depends on location, satellite footprint and an unobstructed line of sight.
- Four orbital positions are a common configuration, but five or more may work under suitable conditions.
- The stated capacity of 1–8 LNBs refers to possible antenna configurations and may require additional holders or narrow LNBs.
- Five LNB holders are supplied with the basic antenna.
- The minimum spacing of approximately 3° requires suitable LNBs and cannot be guaranteed for every satellite combination.
- LNBs and switches are included only with packages that expressly specify them.
- Circular-polarisation reception requires a suitable LNB or feed system.
- The wall, mast and fixings must be rated for the antenna’s weight and local wind loads.
- The supporting structure must remain completely rigid to preserve alignment.
- The antenna requires a clear view towards all selected orbital positions.
- Professional installation and alignment are recommended.
- Technical changes and minor construction differences may occur.
