The Selfsat IP22 is a flat and discreet SAT>IP antenna designed to distribute free-to-air satellite channels through an existing home or business network. The satellite signal is converted directly into IP streams and sent through an Ethernet cable to the router, which then distributes the channels via LAN or Wi-Fi to compatible devices.
Up to eight compatible devices or tuners can select and receive satellite programmes simultaneously through SAT>IP. These may include smart televisions, computers, tablets, smartphones or other devices running a compatible SAT>IP client.
In addition to SAT>IP functionality, the antenna provides two separate Legacy outputs. These can be connected directly to conventional satellite receivers or televisions with integrated DVB-S2 tuners. SAT>IP distribution and conventional satellite reception can therefore be combined in one antenna system.
Its flat construction makes the antenna considerably less conspicuous than a traditional round satellite dish. The Selfsat IP22 is particularly suitable for houses, apartments, balconies, holiday homes, offices and other locations where a space-saving installation is preferred.

🌐 How SAT>IP Works
The Selfsat IP22 receives the satellite signal and converts it into data streams using SAT>IP technology. The signals are transferred through the antenna’s Ethernet connection to the home router or local network.
The router then distributes the signals to compatible clients through:
- Wired LAN
- Wireless networking
- Compatible SAT>IP applications
- SAT>IP software for computers
- Televisions or receivers with SAT>IP support
The system supports up to eight simultaneous programme selections through SAT>IP. Actual capacity and picture quality also depend on network speed, router performance, Wi-Fi coverage and client compatibility.
For wireless distribution, a modern router supporting at least Wi-Fi 5, 802.11ac is recommended, particularly when several HD channels are streamed simultaneously.
📺 Two Separate Legacy Outputs
In addition to its network connection, the Selfsat IP22 provides two conventional satellite outputs. These operate as a Universal Twin LNB and can be connected directly to:

- A compatible satellite system with two individual inputs
Each Legacy output is controlled independently by the connected receiver. A separate coaxial cable is required from each output to the receiver or television.

🔧 Installation
The antenna is installed using the supplied mast/balcony bracket or window bracket and carefully aligned towards the required satellite. A clear line of sight towards the satellite position is essential.
The SAT>IP connection is connected to the PoE adapter and then to a compatible router or network switch. The PoE adapter transfers both power and network data to the antenna through the Ethernet cable.
The two Legacy outputs are connected separately to conventional receivers or televisions using satellite-grade coaxial cable.
After physical installation, compatible SAT>IP clients or software must be configured to discover the antenna on the local network.
Use a satellite signal meter for accurate alignment. Professional installation is recommended when multiple network clients will be used or when the network requires configuration.
