The Digiality/Maximum MB-3 is a Universal Single Monoblock LNB designed for simultaneous reception from two satellite positions separated by approximately 3°. It provides an effective solution where the satellites are too closely spaced for two conventional LNBs to be installed correctly beside each other.
The product combines two Universal LNBs and an integrated DiSEqC switch in one unit. It has one output and is intended for one satellite receiver or tuner, which can switch between both satellite positions.
The MB-3 is suitable for combinations such as Hotbird 13°E and Eutelsat 16°E or Eutelsat 16°E and Astra 19.2°E, provided that the dish size, geometry and installation location offer suitable reception conditions.
The Monoblock LNB has a typical noise figure of 0.2 dB, gain of 50–62 dB and is designed for offset satellite dishes with an F/D ratio of approximately 0.6.
A special LNB holder is required. The recommended holder is product number 1326, sold separately.
Please note that the brand may vary. The Digiality MB-3 may be replaced by an equivalent Maximum MB-3 with the same basic function and specifications.

🔧 Connection and Operation
The MB-3 has one F-output, which connects by coaxial cable to a satellite receiver or television with an integrated DVB-S/DVB-S2 tuner.
The connected tuner controls:
Satellite-position selection through DiSEqC
Vertical or horizontal polarisation through the supply voltage
Low or high band through the 0/22 kHz signal
The DiSEqC ports are configured in the receiver’s antenna menu according to the LNB’s port assignment. Depending on the receiver, the ports may be identified as Port 1/2, A/B or AA/AB.
As the LNB has only one output, it supports one independent tuner. A Twin Tuner receiver normally requires an LNB with at least two independent outputs for full functionality.

The product requires a special Monoblock holder and cannot be assumed to fit directly into every standard LNB mount.
