EMP-Centauri 8-Way DiSEqC Switch S8/1PCN-3 (P.168)

The EMP-Centauri S8/1PCN-3 (P.168) is a professional eight-way DiSEqC switch designed to connect up to eight LNBs or satellite positions to one satellite receiver through a common coaxial cable.

The switch provides eight SAT inputs and one SAT output. Inputs are selected using the DiSEqC 1.1 Uncommitted Switch command or the DiSEqC 1.2 Goto nn command. The satellite receiver must therefore support DiSEqC 1.1 or 1.2 to access all eight inputs.

This model is suitable for advanced multi-satellite installations using Dreambox, Enigma2 or other compatible receivers. Its mechanical construction also allows multiple units to be mounted together in larger systems.

Please note: The model shown in the product image has no separate terrestrial antenna input. It is intended for satellite signals within the 950–2300 MHz range.

🔧 Connection and Operation

Connect each LNB to a separate connector marked SAT IN. Connect the port marked SAT OUT to the tuner input of the satellite receiver.

Configure the receiver for:

• DiSEqC 1.1 – Uncommitted Switch, or

• DiSEqC 1.2 – Goto nn

Assign the correct input to each satellite position in the receiver’s installation menu. The available setting names and input numbering may vary between receivers.

When several identical modules are installed for multiple receivers or tuners, each satellite position must provide enough independent LNB outputs. Use Twin, Quad or Octo LNBs according to the number of separate switch branches.
