The EMP-Centauri S4/1PCT-W2 P.169-TW combines a 3-way DiSEqC switch and a terrestrial television input inside one weather-protected unit.

The switch provides three separate satellite inputs for up to three LNBs and one terrestrial input for a conventional television antenna. The satellite and DVB-T/T2 terrestrial signals are combined and distributed through the same coaxial cable.

This is a practical solution when reception from several satellite positions and terrestrial television is required without installing a separate cable from the TV antenna. At the receiver location, the signals are separated again using a suitable TV/SAT outlet or TV/SAT diplexer.

The three satellite inputs are selected by the receiver using DiSEqC commands. Its robust weather-protected housing makes the switch suitable for outdoor installation near the satellite dish.

🔧 Connection and Operation

Connect the three LNBs to the switch’s three SAT inputs. Connect the coaxial cable from the terrestrial antenna to the input marked TERR IN.

Connect the combined output to the coaxial cable running into the building. At the receiver location, separate the signals using a TV/SAT outlet or diplexer:

• Connect the SAT output to the satellite receiver or the television’s DVB-S/S2 input.

• Connect the TV output to the television’s DVB-T/T2 input.

Assign the correct DiSEqC port to each satellite in the receiver’s antenna settings. The switch will then automatically select the correct LNB when a channel from that satellite is opened.
