This satellite in-line amplifier helps compensate for signal loss in longer coaxial cables between the dish’s LNB and the satellite receiver. It is designed for satellite signals and installations with cable runs of approximately 40–50 metres.
The amplifier features slope compensation, providing greater amplification at higher frequencies. Gain increases from 13 dB at 950 MHz to 18 dB at 2300 MHz, helping compensate for the greater cable attenuation normally experienced at higher frequencies.
Power is supplied through the satellite receiver’s LNB supply over the coaxial cable, so no separate power adapter is required. The amplifier is installed along the cable run, typically after approximately 20–25 metres.
Installation requires two F connectors on the cable ends. Different versions of this product are available, and minor variations in appearance and specifications may occur.
✅ Product Benefits
- Compensates for cable loss in longer satellite installations.
- Slope compensation provides increased gain at higher frequencies.
- 13–18 dB gain, depending on frequency.
- Powered through the coaxial cable, with no separate power adapter required.
- Connects directly to the cable using F connectors.
- Intended for cable runs of approximately 40–50 metres.
🎯 Ideal For
- Satellite installations with long coaxial cable runs.
- Systems requiring compensation for cable attenuation.
- Installations where the receiver is located far from the dish.
- Existing satellite cables requiring an in-line amplifier.
🔧 Connection and Operation
Install the amplifier in the coaxial cable between the LNB and satellite receiver. The suggested position is approximately 20–25 metres along the cable from the LNB.
Connect the cable from the dish to the LNB side and the cable leading to the receiver to the receiver side. Follow the markings on the supplied version.
Two F connectors are required for installation. The receiver’s LNB supply powers the amplifier through the coaxial cable.
