F female to RP-SMA female adapter for joining a cable with an F male connector to a cable or connection with an RP-SMA male connector. A practical solution for adapting connector types without replacing cable connectors.
The adapter features threaded connections on both sides and a knurled grip for easy handling. The RP-SMA female connection has a centre pin, distinguishing it from a standard SMA female connection.
âś… Benefits
- Joins F male and RP-SMA male connectors.
- Threaded connections for secure attachment.
- Knurled grip for easier installation.
- Compact, straight design.
- No soldering or cable preparation with pre-terminated cables.
🎯 Ideal for
- Joining cables with F male and RP-SMA male connectors.
- Connector adaptation in compatible coaxial installations.
- Installation, servicing and test connections using RP-SMA connectors.
🔧 Connection and use
Screw the F male connector onto the adapter’s F female connection. Then connect an RP-SMA male connector to the adapter’s RP-SMA female connection. Hold the grip to prevent the cables from twisting during installation.
Ensure that the mating connector is RP-SMA male with a centre socket. A standard SMA male connector has an incompatible centre contact. Also check that the signal type and impedance are compatible throughout the connection. The adapter does not convert the signal.
