Position your external WiFi antenna more conveniently with a pre-assembled LMR200 cable featuring N male and RP-SMA male connectors. The cable connects an antenna with an N female connector to compatible equipment with an RP-SMA female port, such as a WLAN router or access point supporting an external antenna.
Choose 3, 5 or 10 metres to suit your installation. This allows the antenna to be positioned separately from the networking equipment, giving you the opportunity to try a location with fewer obstructions between the antenna and the intended coverage area.
The cable is particularly convenient for routing through a wall. Its smaller RP-SMA connector requires a smaller opening than the N connector. Both connectors are already fitted, so there is no need to crimp or assemble a connector after routing the cable.
The straight, threaded connectors screw onto matching ports for secure mechanical attachment. The black, round cable can follow a planned route with gentle bends and suitable strain relief at the connections.
A practical choice for WLAN installations where the antenna and equipment use different connector types. Select the shortest suitable length and check that the equipment uses RP-SMA. Both cable attenuation and antenna placement affect the final installation performance.
✅ Benefits
- N male to RP-SMA male – connects an antenna’s N female connector to an equipment’s RP-SMA female port.
- Three length options – choose 3, 5 or 10 metres.
- Easier wall routing – pass the smaller RP-SMA end through the wall.
- Pre-fitted connectors – no crimping or soldering required.
- Threaded connections – provide secure attachment at both ends.
- Separate antenna positioning – greater freedom to suit the installation space.
- Straight connectors – connect directly to matching antenna ports.
🎯 Ideal for
- WiFi and WLAN antennas with N female connectors.
- Routers and access points with RP-SMA female ports for external antennas.
- Installations requiring the antenna to be positioned 3–10 metres from the equipment.
- Wall routing where you want to retain pre-fitted connectors.
- Replacing a cable with the same connector combination and compatible electrical specifications.
🔧 Connection and use
Measure the cable route and choose 3, 5 or 10 metres. Allow for corners, cable entries and connections without tension.
For wall routing, pass the RP-SMA end through the opening. Size the hole for the connector’s largest external dimension and any protective sleeve or gland.
Screw the N male connector onto the antenna’s N female connector and the RP-SMA male connector onto the equipment’s RP-SMA female port. Check the centre contact: RP-SMA male has a centre socket, while matching RP-SMA female has a centre pin.
Support the cable so its weight does not pull on the connectors. Protect exposed connections and cable entries against moisture, and check the cable’s suitability for the intended environment.
Keep the cable as short as the installation allows. Equipment with several separate antenna connections requires one cable per antenna feed.
