The Kathrein UAS 572 is a powerful Universal Twin LNB designed for Kathrein satellite dishes in the CAS series and compatible dishes in the Triax TDE series. Its robust construction and high gain make it suitable for private and professional satellite installations.
The LNB has two separate outputs, allowing two satellite receivers or tuners to be connected directly. Each output can be controlled independently, enabling two users to select different satellite channels simultaneously. It can also be used with a receiver equipped with twin tuners and two separate satellite inputs.
The UAS 572 covers the complete Ku-band frequency range from 10.70 to 12.75 GHz. Low- and high-band selection is controlled by a 0/22 kHz signal, while vertical and horizontal polarisation are selected through the supply voltage.
This model uses Kathrein’s dedicated mounting system and is therefore not designed for conventional satellite dishes equipped with a standard 40 mm LNB holder.

🔧 Use and Connection
The UAS 572 is mounted directly on a compatible Kathrein CAS or Triax TDE satellite dish. Its two F-type outputs are connected using separate coaxial cables to two receivers, two televisions with integrated satellite tuners or one receiver equipped with twin tuners.
The outputs operate independently. Each receiver or tuner therefore requires its own coaxial cable from the LNB to select channels, frequency bands and polarisation independently.
Confirm the satellite dish model before ordering, as the UAS 572 has a model-specific mounting system and cannot be fitted directly into a conventional 40 mm LNB holder.
